Margot and I were at school together and we both loathed it, with all the petty rules and regulations. Kindred spirits we laughed a lot, played in the school orchestra and Margot excelled at sport. She met Malc at John’s and my engagement party in 1962.

We lost touch over the years but in March 2020 she phoned out of the blue and our friendship was rekindled. We had many long, hilarious conversations on FaceTime catching up and reminiscing. She was so much fun and was absolutely the best thing that happened to us all year. 

A fabulous, funny, brave, kind and truly lovely person. John and I will miss her terribly.
